GF unsuccessfully applied for judicial review of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 (“Order”). The High Court found the Order was within the authority of COVID-19 Public Health Response Act 2020, and was not irrational.

Imran Kamal sought judicial review of the decision by the Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association of New Zealand Incorporated (RITANZ) to decline his application for membership because he did not meet the "good character" requirement.

Alongside host Wallace Chapman and panelist Michele A'Court, they discussed the issues of the day.

Mr Middeldorp sought judicial review of the Club’s decisions to suspend him from the committee, to decline 14 membership applications, and for breaching the Club's rules in relation to elections to the committee.

Franks Ogilvie assisted the Council of Licenced Firearm Owners (COLFO) to advocate on behalf of their members against significant firearms law changes.

Dame Patsy Reddy's term as Governor-General finished on the 28 September but there is a three week gap until the new GG is sworn in.

Mr Gao, Ms Xue and Smiling Face Ltd grew G3 kiwifruit in NZ under a licence from Zespri. The High Court found they breached Zespri’s statutory rights when they supplied the varieties to third parties in China. They appealed the decision to the High Court.
